Monte Herford lives in West Michigan with his family and is actively involved in the local community. His work is grounded in a simple belief: when insurance is structured correctly, it protects more than assets; it protects the life people have worked to build.

Monte grew up on a 2,800-acre family crop farm in Michigan, where he developed an early understanding of what drives a good business, and the chaos that follows when risk isn’t properly managed. That perspective remains central to his work today. He understands that margins matter, volatility is real, and especially in this market, every dollar counts. Insurance should support the business, not quietly work against it.

Proven Leadership at Scale

Before entering the insurance industry, Monte held senior leadership roles in intralogistics and automation, leading complex operations and large-scale initiatives across global organizations. He negotiated and managed contracts valued up to $800 million, improved execution in underperforming business units, and built operational systems adopted across teams in North America and Europe.
